*Swedish pulp and paper production on the increase
In 2004 Swedish pulp production 
amounted to 12.1 million tons. That is an increase of 3 % from the year before.
Apart from sulphite pulp, production of all kinds of pulp increased. In comparison with 2003 production of paper and cardboard also increased by 5 % to 11.6 million tons. The most important increases occurred within the printing and writing paper groups.
